not your normal day

Today was/is just another day....just another normal day....and yet it was out of the ordinary so far here in little-bit-o-nowhere poland

you see....Today in school I was hanging out with my friends, waiting for the bell to ring for English class. But alas, something strange and very touching happened. I was talking to Marta Filipek...moja kochana....and she was telling me that when she started to think about when I'm leaving here, she couldn't believe it!!! She started to cry:( I felt so bad (mainly that I wasn't crying as well....I'm just trying not to think about it...that's why I'm not crying, don't think and it won't happen!!!!) and I was so MOVED by her. I mean, I knew she loved me, i know she loves me...but AWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

after school, I went on a walk...as usual....not "as usual", but I do walk a lot. Anyways, today I brought with me a plastic bag and some heavy duty gloves...and I picked up trash. Granted, one person alone in this...."still-winter-mess" let's call it....can only do so much. I filled one good sized plastic bag in a span that usually takes me to walk in about 4-5 minuts....ie...that stretch is now clean. I guess April 1st EVERYONE is outside cleaning, no school even, it's spring cleaning day...but I wont be here (since I'll be in EUROPE with my FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so I thought I'd do MY part right now.

After filling my bag, i threw it out in a garbage bin, then continued walking. Walked walked walked, then on my way back, i ran into this guy that I met last Thursday i think it was. He's maybe 25 or so. Anyways, he works at the fire station/rescue station in town...and he showed me around!!!! It was very neat:) I got to see every compartment of the fire truck, and he showed me all the interesting gadgets and junk they've got there. It was very neat, and I was glad to see it:) It's all volunteer since this is such a small town, and the fire truck is "old"....but I told Piotr that the most important thing is that they HAVE something like that....NEATO BADITO!!!
